You’ll meet Redkneckers, Private Knucklehead, and Keith himself, as he takes you on a nostalgic trip through time and memories with song and story. Branson Blast!
This crazy little variety show includes illusion, acrobatics, juggling, music, and loads of fun! The show is a little over an hour in length and is showing at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week. We guarantee you’ll have a ”Blast!”
Breaking Up is Hard To Do
This fun-filled musical features a sweet comic story woven together with the classic hits of Neil Sedaka including “Laughter In the Rain”, “Calendar Girl”, “Sweet Sixteen” and of course “Breaking Up is Hard To Do.” In the style of “Mama Mia” the music features exciting full production numbers. You’ll see 19 of Neil Sedaka’s hits performed by this top-rate talented cast and you’ll be drawn into the comic lives of the show’s characters as they draw you into their weekend at “Ester’s Paradise Resort” in New York in 1960. Playing to standing ovations every performance, Breaking Up is Hard To Do is fast becoming one of Branson’s favorite shows.
New for 2009 – Chicken House Opry now open with shows Monday through Friday at 2 PM in the Star Theatre! Chicken House Opry is an old fashioned opry show, featuring old country music, new songs and comedy, LOTS OF COMEDY.
Comedians Cajun Charlie LeBlanc, Rooster Red Beeker, Dean Greathouse and comediennes Lucy Jackson and Char Greathouse keep audiences laughing.
The Opry also features critically acclaimed comedy skits of Thibodeaux’s Big War; Chief Sequoyah and Gen. George Custer, Ernesto & The Rancher; Trip To The Doc; and Buying A Computer.
Chicken House Opry features three different shows, starting with their show on Monday and a new and different show on Tuesday and yet another different show on Wednesday. People will never see the same show on consecutive days.
New for 2009 – Rock ‘n’ Roll Is Here To Stay now open with shows Tuesday through Saturday at 8 PM in the Crystal Show Room! Rock ‘n’ Roll Is Here To Stay is a new and exciting concept featuring two shows merged into one. The show also features Don Solice performing “A Tribute to Elvis”, Christopher Tucker of “Red, Hot & Blue”, Scott Riley of “The Joey Riley Show”, and many more. Come and “Rock ‘n’ Roll” with the cast and crew of the newest and most entertaining show in town!
Coming soon - The Keatings....a Father & Son Musical Experience opens on July 18th 2009, with shows Wednesday through Sunday at 5 PM in the large Show Room. The Keatings have come direct from Las Vegas and they are waiting to take you on an unforgettable musical journey that will leave you singing for days.
Lomascola’s Million Dollar Piano Variety Show 2009 Spring season (March 10 – May 25) has been cancelled. David Lomascola, star of the show at the Branson Star Theatre was involved in an automobile accident and sustained injuries that will require months of therapy. The show will resume its regular Fall 2009 schedule (September 22 – December 6).
